An Otaku is a person with a serious obsession. And All Nippon Airways? They’re Otakus for service. It’s a match made in heaven for anyone heading to Japan to nerd out because no one gets the hype like they do.
For this campaign, we bridged the gap between ANA’s premium service and the niche subcultures that draw travelers to Japan. Our spots follow three unique travelers, each pursuing a different passion: whisky, fashion, and kawaii culture (highlighting just a few of ANA premier offerings). Our series of stylized journeys, show that for the true Otaku, the pilgrimage doesn’t start at touchdown—it starts at takeoff.
